The Department of Family Care and Mental Health within the Faculty of Education and Health is seeking to appoint an external examiner for a four year period of tenure, commencing September 2018, in respect of our SCPHN (health visiting and school nursing) programme and our post-qualifying Practice Teacher course.
You will be required to review work (level 6 and 7) from all of the SCPHN courses (some of which are shared courses with Specialist Practice (District Nursing), the final year projects and course work for our post qualifying Practice Teacher course.
Nominations are invited for this vacancy from suitably qualified and experienced individuals, with current registration on the third part of the NMC Register. The examiner must possess an MSc as a minimum and preferably a doctorate. Programme development and leadership experience is desirable.
