Joining our Higher Education department, you will be part of a team developing the skills and knowledge of our enthusiastic healthcare practitioners. Working across both postgraduate and undergraduate programmes, you will encourage a supportive learning environment in which our staff can attain a variety of qualifications such as Bachelor of Nursing, MSc Nursing, MSc Professional Studies, MSc Advanced Practice and BSc Professional Practice and maintain cutting-edge knowledge.

Fundamental to this role, you will lead on the delivery of the Non-Medical Prescribing programme. Developing all relevant resources and coordinating these programmes, you will also undertake, publish and supervise primary research and instil a love of education and learning amongst your students.

Passionate about sharing your knowledge – which you will have gained in a previous Higher Education (HE) role – you will have a minimum of five years’ teaching experience in HE, reinforced by a postgraduate certificate in Education and membership of Advance HE.

With a Masters’ degree in the area of advanced practice/professional practice, you will either have or be working towards a doctoral level qualification. You will also need comprehensive organisational skills, as you will be responsible for maintaining the university standards that apply to BSc and MSc programmes.
