1 x Senior Lecturer/Lecturer post available on a permanent basis at 1.0 FTE. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual.

Senior Lecturer starting salary from £39,992 – £47,722 per annum with further progression opportunities to £52,132. Lecturer starting salary from £33,518 – £38,833 per annum with further progression opportunities to £42,418

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in musculoskeletal medicine, you will be able to demonstrate expertise in musculoskeletal medicine and therapy and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to delivery of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in physiotherapy, sports therapy and other health related programmes.

You will be engaged in research and knowledge-exchange activities which may include innovative CPD, short course activities and developing personal areas of scholarship and professional expertise. You will also make a significant contribution to employability, and professional engagement with relevant internal and external organisations, at a regional, national and international level.

You will be qualified to Doctorate level or be able to demonstrate the ability to create and disseminate knowledge at an equivalent level and the capability to convert this knowledge into a doctorate in a maximum of 3-5 years from the date of appointment. You will be research active and committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement. You must be either a qualified Physiotherapist and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or a qualified Sports Therapist and registered with the Society of Sports Therapy.
