Senior Lecturer in Children’s Nursing
£40,922 to £48,219 per annum including London Weighting
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic children’s nurse to contribute to the provision of high quality learning, teaching and research within the Department of Children’s Nursing and participate in the thriving portfolio of pre- and post-registration, undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education programmes. We are a dynamic and proactive team and offer excellent opportunities for development and supportive networking within our partner NHS Trusts and higher education.
We are seeking applications from individuals who are keen to develop their skills in teaching, learning and student support, with a view to a career in Higher Education. We are particularly interested in hearing from children’s nurses with community experience together with an enthusiasm for developing their research profile.
Applicants for the post must be a registered children’s nurse on the NMC register and have experience of supporting, mentoring and assessing students. Applicants will ideally be educated to masters level and preferably have a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to undertake this. Part time work will be considered.
