This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Non-Medical Prescriber to join the Department of Post Qualifying Healthcare Practice, within the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Birmingham City University. About the role
In collaboration with the Faculty team, the role will involve the following activities:

  • A contribution to taught delivery and module leadership across the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice, Non-Medical Prescribing and other related programmes.
  • Engagement with external stakeholders and provision of placement support to students and mentors.
  • Through personal tutoring, provision of support and mentorship to students undertaking the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice, Non-Medical Prescribing and Pre-registration Nursing programmes.

About you
We are looking for someone who can enthuse and engage students, while also contributing to the Schools scholarly and enterprise activities. Experience as an academic in Higher Education is desirable. Credibility and proficiency in Advanced Clinical Practice is essential and you should possess a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification. In addition, experience of supporting students is also desirable for this post. Ideally, you will hold a postgraduate award, or PhD.
