Thank you for your interest in the role of Professor of Nursing Research in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences here at Oxford Brookes University. The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences is the biggest of four Faculties in the University and a large part of its teaching portfolio is dedicated to the education of Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals.
The Faculty also supports a growing portfolio of research in these areas. The advertised position is therefore a key position to support the delivery and development of excellent research in the area of Nursing.
To support our ambitions, we are looking to appoint an experienced and excellent researcher with a proven academic track record who will provide leadership in the area of Nursing Research. The position is embedded in the Oxford Institute for Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Research (OxINMAHR), which brings together health researchers across the University and, as part of the Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery and the local Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC), the local NHS Trusts. The position therefore presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a community of researchers who integrate across academia and practice.
