The University of Worcester has a reputation for contemporary and innovative Nursing and Midwifery provision. Our NMC approved programmes are nationally recognised for their high quality, student satisfaction and sustained high employability of our alumni. The Three Counties School of Nursing and Midwifery has an exceptional reputation for excellence and strong collaborative working with our practice partners. As part of the nursing and midwifery provision, the School is significantly expanding the nursing apprenticeship programmes and we are seeking to appoint a Nursing Apprenticeship Programme Educator who will join a highly professional and motivated team to support Nursing and Nursing Associate students undertaking an apprenticeship programme.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse, who can engage with students/apprentices in their practice learning environment. The focus of the post will be to support Nursing and Nursing Associate students in the practice learning setting through regular individual learner progress reviews and to act as a resource to practice supervisors/assessors.
The successful post-holder will need to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. You will draw upon your knowledge and experience of supporting healthcare students in practice and work proactively and collaboratively with practice partners, academics and other professionals to provide an outstanding student/apprentice learning experience.
