Closing Date:

Salary Range:

Faculty of Health and Life Science
School of Nursing Midwifery and Health

Our secondment Lecturer Scheme provides an opportunity for experienced clinicians to work for a prestigious university engaging with the education of future advanced clinical practitioners, part time, whilst remaining in their clinical post.

If you are an experienced mental health practitioner with a strong interest in the education and development of trainee advanced clinical practitioners, this two-day secondment opportunity may be of interest to you.

As a key member of the Advanced Clinical Practice team you would engage in the delivery of the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice Mental Health pathway. This would involve a range of activities, depending on your experience, including, teaching and assessment across the mental health modules, continuing module development and improving the student experience through the inclusion of up-to-date clinical knowledge and experience.

Joining the scheme provides an exciting opportunity to develop knowledge and ability within the Advanced Clinical Practice education pillar. Some seconded colleagues do go on to become permanent lecturers within the Faculty, with the added potential opportunity to undertake a nationally recognised education course.

Appointment to a secondment is dependent on approval from your current employer.

At least 18 months of working in an advanced mental health role is required.

Please submit a CV and a short statement (200 words maximum) indicating why you would like to be considered for the post.
