We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Lecturer (Teaching) to join the Department of Paramedic Science and Physician Associates to play a key role in the delivery of clinical skills education in the Paramedic Science Programmes including the BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science, the Foundation Degree Paramedic Science and Technician to Paramedic programmes. The successful candidate will also contribute to clinical skills teaching across the department and to promote inter professional learning and teaching.

The appointee will join a highly successful team delivering core skills and simulation teaching. They will also participate in clinical simulation across a number of other health related disciplines including physicians associate, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. The School is committed to inter-disciplinary simulated learning and the successful candidate will further enhance these developments. The College has a state of the art simulation centre including hospital, therapy and home environments and also benefits from dedicated skills technicians and a range of technically advanced equipment.

The Department of Paramedic Science and Physician Associates is one of four departments in the School and comprises courses in: Foundations degree in Health and Social Care, Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy, Nutritional therapy, Social work, and Physician Associate. The department also support continuous professional development through short courses and study days.
