The School of Health and Care Professions, University of Portsmouth, is seeking to appoint outstanding and talented people to support development and delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate nursing curriculum, with the potential to contribute to research and innovation. The School has a clear vision for the Future nurse and to achieve this, our use of simulation within pre-registration nursing programmes is exceptional.

We are seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, to contribute to teaching excellence, research and innovation in nursing. The successful candidate will be able to effectively articulate their contribution to developing the Future Nurse with evidence of research in the field and an ability to contribute to effective and safe person-centred care in our undergraduate and postgraduate curricula. This is a full time role which will include designing and delivering education and assessment, through blended learning.

A commitment to the provision of a high-quality, student focused educational experience is important. Evidence of ongoing research supporting contemporary healthcare practice is also key.
