About You
You will have contemporary interdisciplinary experience and knowledge of public health, health and social wellbeing and/or public health nutrition. We are particularly seeking an individual with knowledge or experience of teaching epidemiology.

You should be able to effectively apply learning to real life situations in delivering research informed teaching and practical experience across the Faculty of Health & Social Care portfolio. Experience in teaching in HE at undergraduate and postgraduate level would be advantageous.

You will seek out and support new opportunities for curriculum development and contribute to the Department’s research reputation and to the development of relevant knowledge transfer activities.

About the Role
The successful candidate will teach, carry out and publish research and supervise students across all levels within HSWB and the wider Applied Health and Social Care programmes. The post will appeal to those with public health, health and social wellbeing, epidemiology and/or public health nutrition backgrounds.

The department has a diverse and expanding research portfolio and is increasing links and collaborative activity with a variety of internal and external settings and employers. You will be part of a diverse and multi-disciplinary team, with experience of using enhanced research informed teaching and learning strategies in the academic and/or health and social care sectors.
