About You
An enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. You will have expertise in one or more areas of bioscience/biomedical science, preferably including physiology, pharmacology, genetics or neuroscience. Experience of teaching on Medical, Physician Associate or Health programmes is desirable, in addition to having a keen interest in contributing to the professional, academic, research and scholarly development of the Department/Faculty.

The successful applicant will possess skills that encourage student engagement and facilitate student support. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, the programme team, administrative staff and a range of partners including the NHS, Independent, Voluntary and Private sector.

We would welcome applications from individuals who have an established track record of research output/scholarly publication and experience of participating in REF exercises, although there will be opportunities to be involved in research and ongoing scholarship and professional practice.

An enhanced DBS Certificate is required for this post (to be undertaken upon appointment).

About the Role
You will work across the Medical School and contribute to the development and delivery of a wide range of programmes including the MBChB, MBChB with Foundation year, MSc Physician Associate Studies as well as post-registration programmes.
