Lecturer in Paramedic Sciences (1.5 FTE) REF: ATS984
£33,797 to £40,322 per annum, pro rata for part-time
The School of Health Sciences is seeking to appoint to three part-time Paramedic Lecturer posts as part of a new staff development pathway for current healthcare practitioners who have an interest in developing an academic career alongside their clinical practice.
You will have a good first degree (2:1 or above), as well as holding a professional registration as a healthcare professional. You will be able to demonstrate expertise and experience (minimum 1 year post registration) of clinical practice in any field relevant to paramedics e.g. ambulance service, primary care, education, off-shore, prisons.
All posts will be offered between 0.4 and 0.6 FTE (2-3 days per week) to allow applicants to maintain a clinical portfolio alongside their academic role. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain academic experience and develop their higher education career in a supportive environment with a clear structure for personal and professional development.
