The School boasts an inspirational, skilled, friendly and enthusiastic team whose research and education activities have real impact. You will be encouraged to share your ideas to push the excellence within the School further to help us keep transforming the lives of others.
We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join our highly motivated team to contribute to the teaching, assessment, support and curriculum development for pre-registration nursing students and multi-disciplinary postgraduate students, and our scholarly activity.
We are looking to appoint an NMC registered nurse with a background in primary care, public health or health and social care. You will be part of teams delivering learning and teaching activities at pre-registration, to students based at our Dundee and Kirkcaldy campuses, and at post-qualifying levels, to students based locally, elsewhere in the UK and overseas. Innovative and creative thinking are important to help achieve our aim of producing graduates who are ready to respond with compassion and commitment to the current and future challenges in healthcare.
You will hold a postgraduate qualification, ideally Master’s degree, with broad experience and knowledge within your field. Preference will be given to applicants with an NMC registered teaching qualification, and able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues facing nursing and healthcare today.
We anticipate that interviews for this appointment will take place on 3 July 2018.
The diversity of our staff and students helps to make University of Dundee one of the top universities in the UK.
