An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic and collegial midwifery education team at the Department of Health Sciences, University of York.

The Department of Health Sciences is one of the most highly regarded centres for nursing and midwifery education in the UK, ranking in the Top 10 of both the Complete University Guide and Guardian University league table. In this role you will be involved in our growing pre-registration midwifery provision, including contributing to the development of an innovative new curriculum aligned with the NMC Future Midwife standards. Your role will include supporting students in academic and clinical environments, and working closely with our practice partners to ensure an exceptional student experience.

The ideal candidate will have substantive clinical experience and a track-record of teaching in higher education and/or clinical practice. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with knowledge and experience of teaching emergency management and complicated maternities.
