The School is growing its Academic staff base and is now seeking a number of registered mental health nurses with significant practical experience to contribute to teaching, research, knowledge exchange, enterprise and business engagement within the Department of Nursing & Midwifery.

The successful candidates will be educated to degree level. Those applying for a Lecturer role will also possess a PhD in a relevant discipline or will be willing to complete this within 6 years of being appointed.

You will have the ability to contribute to curriculum development and will be committed to undertaking research, development and/or scholarship to enhance teaching. Experience of teaching and assessing students in practice is also essential, as is contemporary knowledge of mental health nursing across the lifespan.

Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post may qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
