The Department of Biomedical Sciences wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Forensic Science. Applications are particularly sought from outstanding individuals with teaching experience in Forensic Science, who are able to contribute to existing subjects in physiology, anatomy, and/or cellular sciences.
The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Biomedical Sciences has benefited from extensive investment over the past 5 years and has a wide range of state of the art facilities, including dedicated Microbiology laboratories, NGS, Mass Spectrometry and flow cytometry.
Our staff are involved in a range of interdisciplinary activities across the university and at national/ international level. In REF 2014, Biomedical science staff made a major contribution to uoa3 Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Nursing & Pharmacy the University’s leading submission. The University recently achieved a Silver award in the TEF and the successful applicant will be expected to contribute fully to the future TEF application for Biomedical Sciences.
