As a Lecturer in Nursing with an NMC Independent and Supplementary Prescribing qualification for Nurses you will have the opportunity to contribute to our teaching portfolio and work primarily in the post-graduate module on Independent and Supplementary Prescribing for Nurses and Midwives within the Master’s in Advanced Practice programme. You will also have the opportunity to teach on the undergraduate nursing programme, which will focus upon theoretical and practice elements of the fundamentals of nursing practice.

As a Lecturer in Nursing you will have a Masters’ degree in a related discipline and some recent experience of teaching students and / or professional groups. You will also have current registration on the NMC Professional Register with some post qualifying clinical experience, and be registered with the NMC as an Independent and Supplementary Prescriber for Nurses with some post qualifying prescribing experience.
