The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and ambitious HCPC registered Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic team of academics delivering excellent and visionary pre-registration occupational therapy courses. We are proud that our BSc Occupational Therapy course is placed 10th in the UK (Complete University Guide 2019) and Coventry University is placed 13th in the UK University league tables (Guardian 2019).

In addition to this the University has been awarded Gold for outstanding Teaching and Learning (TEF 2017) and named ‘University of the Year for Student Experience’ (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019).

Posts available:

  • Lecturer in Occupational Therapy: Full Time, Fixed Term until October 2022.
    Grade 7: £33 806 – £42 800 per annum
  • Lecturer in Occupational Therapy: Part Time, 0.4FTE (usually 2 days per week), Fixed term until October 2022. Grade 7: £33 806 – £42,800 pro rata, per annum
  • Assistant Professor in Occupational Therapy: Full Time, Permanent position.
    Grade 8: £40,329 – £57,430 per annum

Our occupational therapy team are one of the largest in the country and work collaboratively with a wide range of health care professions within the Faculty of Health and Life sciences and now benefit from new, ‘state of the art’ health science simulation facilities, a £60M+ investment. For the Lecturer post, applicants should demonstrate a wide range of clinical experience. For the Assistant Professor post, experience of teaching within higher education is desirable.

The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual. Please state on your application form which post you are applying for.
