The University of the Highlands is an ambitious provider of nurse education and research, and works in close partnership with NHS Boards, and other stakeholders across the North of Scotland. The University is seeking to appoint a new Head of Department to this important strategic post. The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the department and will lead and implement the next phase of the department’s plan for further growth and development. They will have demonstrable leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence their colleagues to achieve tangible positive outcomes.
Offered as a 5 year fixed term position, the successful applicant will revert to an appropriate substantive role within the department at the end of their tenure as Head of Department.
