The Leicester School of Nursing and Midwifery, at De Montfort University, is seeking an external panel member to review documentation and attend a conjoint validation event with the Nursing and Midwifery Council for our new BSc (Hons) Nursing and MSc Nursing programmes (all fields of practice).
The approval event will take place on the De Montfort University campus in May 2020 on 12th, 13th or 14th May 2020 (date to be confirmed).
We welcome applications from NMC registered, experienced academics with a strong background in pre-registration nursing, knowledge of the NMC Standards for Education (2018) and QAA benchmarks. Previous experience of leading or contributing to equivalent programmes at this level is essential. Prior external examiner or external panel member experience is desirable.
Please note that current External Examiners of De Montfort University cannot apply, and applicants should not have had close involvement with the University within the last five years.
