The University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified academic to act as External Examiner within the School of Health Sciences for the following courses:

• Advanced Certificate Principles and Practice of Cytotoxic, Chemotherapy and Biological Therapy Administration,
• Advanced Certificate Palliative Care
• Advanced Certificate Introduction to Chronic Oedema Management
• Certificate Principles of Stroke Practice

The successful applicant must have relevant experience of working in the arena of long term conditions, cancer and/or palliative care. He/she will work with our existing External Examiners to review a number of modules within the undergraduate BSc (Hons) Professional Practice Programme.

The External Examiner will be expected to attend the programme assessment board, consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process.
