External Examiner – pre-registration chiropractic degrees (Health Sciences background needed)

AECC University College is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for two of their pre-registration chiropractic degree courses: the four-year integrated masters course (MChiro) and the two-year MSc Chiropractic course. For the MChiro course, the appointment will cover students registered and awarded through either AECC University College or Bournemouth University. As such the appointment will require both AECC University College and Bournemouth University approval.

The appointment would start immediately upon approval, with a normal tenure of 4 academic years.

Applicants must have competence and experience in the field of teaching and learning in HE within Health Sciences disciplines at this level, and relevant academic and/or professional qualifications. Applicants must have knowledge and understanding of the UK sector agreed reference points for the maintenance of academic standards and the assurance and enhancement of quality at FHEQ Level 7. Previous external examining experience is strongly preferred but not essential.

Full criteria for the appointment and expectations of the role will be provided to suitable applicants. A fee is payable in line with the sector norms and reasonable expenses will also be covered. You would need to complete a right to work check before taking up this appointment.
