The School of Health Sciences, in the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences, is looking to appoint an External Examiner for our pre-registration children’s nursing provision. We deliver programmes leading to registration as a children’s nurse at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as a 2, 3 and 4 year programme and with registration in a second field of nursing. Our programmes benefit from shared teaching and joint modules across programmes.
Therefore, we are looking to appoint an External Examiner who has experience of education at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and who enjoys working at all academic levels. Previous experience as an External Examiner is desirable but not essential, as mentoring can be provided where necessary. Applications are invited from academics who have appropriate NMC registration, expertise and experience to maintain comparability standards. The appointment will be with immediate effect.
