City, University of London is looking to recruit an External Examiner for the successful part-time BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies programme.
The posts will commence form September 2020 and will be based on an initial four-year term.
The focus of the role of EE will be to scrutinise and examine a variety of modules within the BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies programme (Intensive Care, Cardiac Care and High Dependency modules).
External examiner responsibilities include moderation of assessments, completion of an annual monitoring report and attendance at subject panels where student marks are ratified. A schedule of subject panels per academic session will be made available. Experienced and new external examiners will be considered provided the applicant has the relevant professional qualification(s) and experience. Relevant professional experience in the fields of neonatal nursing and a valid teaching qualification are essential requirements for this post.
