The Faculty of Education, Health and Community is looking to appoint an External Examiner for the above programme.
The External Examiner is expected to monitor the quality of the coursework/ professional practice across the awards and is invited to attend Assessment Board meetings to consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process. You will be required to forward a report for each module board in consideration of process and student work. An annual report is also required as part of Liverpool John Moores University quality assurance mechanisms.
Previous experience of External Examination is desirable, however mentoring arrangements can be arranged if appropriate.
The appointment will run from September 2018 until September 2022.
