The Division of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for the Physiotherapy Post Graduate Taught Framework. This comprises a number modules which allow students to study for one of three pathways; Neurorehabilitation, Musculoskeletal or a generic pathway.

The External Examiners will work with the Department to quality assure the assessment process, and will have the opportunity to observe practical assessments (if appropriate), and review coursework. Examiners are invited to attend Subject Board meetings (held in February, June and September) to consider student work and contribute to the overall assessment process.

You will be required to write an annual report in consideration of process and student work as part of the University of Nottingham’s quality assurance mechanisms.

Ideally you will possess a higher degree, hold a current professional registration within physiotherapy, demonstrate a relevant academic career and have experience of external examining.
