These University of Derby School of Allied Health and Social Care is seeking to appoint an external Examiner for its MSc Hand Therapy Programme.
This post will involve consideration of assessments related to several modules of study at level 7 which are taken by Hand Therapists who are working as either Occupational Therapists or Physio Therapists.
Modules include:
Assessment of the Hand, Treatment Modalities, Hand Therapy in Practice, Hand Conditions: Mechanisms and Interventions, Hand Injuries: Mechanisms and Interventions. External Examiners will also be require to review dissertations.
The appointments are to commence from September 2019. The successful applicants will be invited to attend an induction day prior to commencement of the role.
Responsibilities include: commenting on draft assessment guidelines, reviewing samples of students’ work, attending meetings of examiners (up to two per year), and submitting an annual report.
