The Post Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care award is housed within the School of Nursing and Professional Practice at the University of Derby. We are seeking to appoint an External Examiner to commence September 2018.
The successful candidate ideally would have a background within palliative care. Whilst external examiner experience is desirable, we welcome expressions of interest from individuals new to this role.
This programme is a newly developed and validated award which we are very excited to be able to offer and can be taken as an independent award or as a pathway within either the MSc Health and Social Care or MSc Advanced Practice routes. There is a core module “Supportive palliative care across the lifespan” and optional modules to choose from “Advanced Communication “ and “Symptom Management within Palliative and End of life care”.
