Teesside University are looking to appoint a new Module and Award Examiner for the BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies (Child) course within the School of Health and Life Sciences.

The course has a September and January intake of around 35 students per intake. We have 2 child specific modules in second year and 3 field specific modules in the third year. Examination Boards usually take place twice per year. Applicants should hold appropriate academic qualifications; have a background in healthcare education; and previous experience as an External Examiner is desirable, although support and guidance can be provided for those new to this role.

The subject areas involved are: Promoting Children’s Nursing Proficiency (Level 5), Leading Care (Level 6); Promoting Therapeutic Practice (Level 5) and Enhanced at Level 6; Child Centred Care and Assessment (Level 6)
