Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff. Previous experience of undertaking an External Examiner role is desirable. The successful candidates will be invited to an external examiner induction day in January 2020. The majority of assessments can be reviewed remotely. The Exam board for the pre-registration midwifery programme meets twice a year, as there are two cohorts per annum. The Exam Board for MACP meets twice a year. You will be required to view a selection of scripts for designated modules and complete a module external examiner report for each set of assignments reviewed. At the end of the academic year, an annual report is required.
