The University of Bedfordshire, School of Healthcare Practice is seeking a suitably qualified external panel member to assist in a joint University and Nursing & Midwifery Council approval event for our Nurse and Midwife Independent and Supplementary Prescribing (V300) course, which has been revised to meet the new NMC Standards for prescribing programmes (NMC, 2018).

The approval event is scheduled to take place on Friday 17th May 2019, 09.00-15.00 hours. The successful candidate may choose to attend the University for the whole event, or instead, to provide a written evaluative report and questions which will be addressed by the programme team at the approval event.

The ideal candidate would be an academic experienced in curriculum design and who holds a relevant prescribing qualification. We are unable to appoint candidates who are current external examiners for the School or who have recently left employment at the University of Bedfordshire.
