The University of Suffolk is a new and ambitious institution with a well-established track record of delivering high-quality academic programmes in health and a growing research profile.
The School of Nursing and Health Sciences is the largest academic unit in the institution and has seen significant growth under the leadership of the Dean of School, Dr Paul Driscoll-Evans. To support the expansion of student numbers the University will be opening a new Health and Wellbeing Building in 2022, which will feature significantly enhanced clinical simulation facilities.
To support future growth the University is seeking to appoint to an experienced and dynamic individual to become our Professional Lead for Nursing. Working closely with the Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) the post holder will provide operational and strategic leadership for our nursing provision, always with a clear focus on enhancing the student experience. As a member of the School Executive the post-holder will have the opportunity to play an active role in the development and growth of the overall School.
The appointee will be a NMC registrant and have significant experience in the delivery/management of NMC-related programmes and PSRB quality assurance activity, The role-holder will need to have a track record of team leadership and leading initiatives to enhance student experience.
