Buxton and Leek College, as part of the University of Derby are excited to welcome applicants to lead on our brand new and exciting Health Science T Level. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated T level lead tutor to teach primarily on our Health Science pathway and a range of Health and Social Care/ Psychology vocational programmes.
You should be qualified to level 5 or above in a Nursing/ Health/Clinical related field and will be able to teach a diverse range of topics. This role may suit you if you are a level 5 assistant practitioner with an interest in teaching.
Whilst this will primarily be classroom based, we also require you to have the digital skills to deliver effective lessons using a range of online resources and platforms (for example Microsoft teams or Blackboard).
This is a diverse and rewarding role so you will need to be adaptable, creative and resourceful in the face of the current challenges in education. You will be confident in collaborating with and supporting our Industry Placement employers and will be highly organised and flexible in their approach.
Relevant nursing/clinical experience and experience of teaching in an FE environment would be desirable, however, consideration will be given to recent graduates with good communication skills who are looking to pursue a career in teaching. A financial contribution towards a Cert Ed/PGCE will be available to the right candidate.
