The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the School of Science, Technology & Health to work with our partners and stakeholders to introduce Speech and Language Therapy into the York St John curriculum.

The successful candidate will initially be tasked with developing a contemporary pre-registration Speech & Language Therapy Masters programme for delivery from 2022. This initial development post is offered over 12 months with the potential for further opportunities beyond this time frame. Flexible working solutions will be considered.

Key Requirements

Successful candidates should have recent clinical experience, hold current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council, be a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and hold a Masters level qualification as a minimum.

An understanding of Higher Education processes is essential to the role, whilst experience of programme development or academic leadership would be a distinct advantage.
