The Role

The School of Health and Care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and post graduate courses for professionals working in health and social care settings and have been successful in securing funding to expand our provision with the development of post registration education including enhanced and advanced CPD.

We are recruiting a Senior Teaching Fellow with a vision to work alongside experts to create and deliver an innovative post-registration CPD portfolio including injection therapy, clinical and professional skills.

You will develop partnerships with regulators, professional bodies, service users and employers, as part of delivering and developing our portfolio.

You will be actively involved in the delivery of teaching and course co-ordination while supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs and other core activities ensuring students have an effective learning experience.

Qualifications Required

  • Current and ongoing registration with HCPC and/or NMC
  • Master’s degree in appropriate subject OR (if from professional practice background) a good Honors Degree and appropriate professional qualification
  • Teaching qualification or extensive experience of delivering professional and/or university education.

Our Successful Candidate

We are keen to hear from Allied Health Professional and/or Nursing registered with HCPC/NMC who have an interest in MSK/Neuro and are qualified to train injection therapy.

You will have demonstrable experience of successful teaching at HE levels 4-7 within health and care, demonstrating best practice in teaching, learning and assessment.
