The department of Health at University College Birmingham is expanding its offering of pre-registration physiotherapy programmes and we are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to be the Practice Based Learning Lead for Physiotherapy.
The Successful applicant will join a team of physiotherapy academics, assessors and employer partners in the delivery of our physiotherapy programmes.
You will have a leadership role within the team, including assisting in curriculum development and supporting the lecturing team to monitor student progress, from their enrolment onto the programme through to graduation.
As a Senior Lecturer, you will have experience of working in physiotherapy education and will have a particular interest in practice-based learning, skills and simulation development across the physiotherapy programmes. You will be a Registered Physiotherapist with current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council and hold a degree in a relevant healthcare subject.
Additionally, you will be holding or working towards a post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject.
