We are seeking a committed physiotherapy educator who is student focussed, approachable and willing to contribute to the development of Newman University Birmingham’s portfolio and vision of Allied Health and Nursing programmes. Candidates will have a track record of designing, delivering and evaluating pre-registration physiotherapy programmes, hold a higher degree in an area directly related to their physiotherapy practice, and have an up-to-date knowledge of physiotherapy education, standards for education as well as a wider in-depth knowledge of healthcare policy and practice in a variety of settings. Commitment to creating an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and everyone is afforded equality of opportunity is essential. Applicants will also need to demonstrate that they have either a recognised teaching qualification or HEA fellowship or a willingness to work towards this. Applicants will need to hold current HCPC registration and be committed to maintaining this.
