We have an exciting opportunity for a practising Optometrist to join our team to make an effective contribution to the delivery of Optometry programmes, including design, teaching and assessment of modules in Optometry and across the department and wider School.

Applicants must be on the General Optometry Council professional register and will possess a PhD or equivalent doctoral level qualification (or will be willing to achieve this within 6 years of appointment). Contemporary Optometry knowledge is essential, as is experience of teaching and assessing students in practice. The ability to contribute to curriculum design is also required, as is the ability to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
