The Children’s Nursing Team at London South Bank University is one of the largest in the U.K. Our students are placed at hospitals in across London and the South East. Alongside traditional teaching methods we strive to develop independent student learning strategies using innovative teaching methods. About You:
- We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- NMC qualified Children’s Nurse and significant experience of working in children and young people’s nursing practice.
- Teaching experience either in Higher Education or in practice education: teaching qualification desirable at Lecturer but essential at Senior Lecturer.
- A good honours degree in Children’s Nursing and post graduate degree are essential.
- Be able to work autonomously and take ownership of areas of responsibility
- Ability to take a collaborative role within the department with a proven record of management skills including the ability to motivate staff.
- Able to successfully undertake the management of projects.
- Ability to work as a team member to enhance the quality of the student journey.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with significant experience of working with Children and Young People, have a passion for teaching and bring a thorough understanding of Children’s Nursing to the department.
