We are seeking a Psychology Senior Lecturer to provide research led teaching and learning support to our students and organisation and day-to-day delivery of the undergraduate psychology provision, ensuring high academic standards and quality of learning experience. You will join a supportive collaborative community of academics with a strong commitment to applied scholarly/professional activity and an excellent track record of delivering a high-quality student experience.
Our department has a vibrant research culture, organised around several University Centres of Excellence, including the Centre for Appearance Research and Centre for Health and Clinical Research. The Department also hosts the Social Science and Psychological Sciences Research Groups.
Applications are welcome in all areas of psychology, but specific preference will be given to those within the areas of gender and psychology, qualitative research methods and critical social psychology.
We offer a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and other professional bodies.

You will work within a leadership team to maintain and enhance our excellent teaching and learning and student experience.
You have a track record in securing research funding, or the potential to attract such funding, with a clear ambition to develop programmes of research that will be recognized internationally as excellent.
You complement our existing research expertise in psychology and/or bridge across existing research centres and groups within the university.
You may be in the early stages of your academic career, but you can demonstrate an established track record of research excellence and publications appropriate for your stage.
