An exciting opportunity exists for a committed Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science to join our innovative team. Joining a team of dedicated lecturers, you will play a key role in the teaching and assessment of Paramedic Science students, and in the continued development of the programmes. You will be expected to participate in lecturing and module leadership primarily in the paramedic science provision, however you will also be expected contribute to a range of programmes within the faculty and interprofessional learning opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the departmental research and scholarly activities and therefore previous experience of participating in research and/or writing for publication is desirable.
You must be a registered Paramedic and hold a first degree in a relevant area, in addition to significant clinical experience as a Paramedic. You must be able to demonstrate evidence of on-going continued professional development and ideally hold, or or be working towards, a higher degree. Previous experience of teaching and assessing within Higher Education is essential and you must have or be willing to work towards the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education.
