Diagnostic Imaging are a supportive team from diverse clinical backgrounds and specialities delivering education across pre- and post-registration programmes. As a team, we are committed to high-quality teaching and learning for all our students using specialist teaching rooms, technology, simulation, and innovative placement experiences. We work creatively and flexibly to meet the evolving needs of service and workforce requirements.

Our education portfolio includes the BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography, BSc (Hons)Diagnostic Radiography Degree Apprenticeship, BSc (Hons) Medical Ultrasound Degree Apprenticeship, MSc Medical Ultrasound and MSc Diagnostic Imaging courses.

We are looking for an inspirational individual specifically with clinical experience working in the field of MRI who can inspire, enthuse, and connect with our students. You will teach on both the undergraduate and post graduate programmes including inter professional education across the college. You will take an active role in all areas of student learning, teaching and assessment; this will also include the quality and administration duties associated with an excellent student experience. You will also be involved in the whole student pathway including admissions, academic advising, clinical placement, and pastoral support.

You must have well developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical, and theoretical issues relevant to imaging practice and experience of clinical practice. A good honours degree (i.e., UK 2.1 or 1st Class) or equivalent professional qualification, evidence of post-registration professional study in diagnostic imaging at MSc level. Clinical experience in diagnostic radiography including MRI is essential, as is registration with a recognised regulatory body.

The team are based within the Robert Winston Building which provides excellent facilities and houses our brand-new specialist imaging suite, ultrasound equipment and other simulation equipment.
