You will play a key role in the delivery and development of our Advanced Clinical Practice programme (including the Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship).
This is an exciting time in the field of advanced clinical practice and our dynamic and contemporary programmes of study are designed to ensure that the growing number of health care practitioners who wish to work at an advanced level are fully prepared for this key role of being safe and effective advanced clinical practitioners in practice.
You will be a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner with excellent communication skills and proven leadership abilities. Alongside a passion for student success, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for practice-based learning as well as effective teaching and assessment strategies. You will also have a keen interest in the use of a range of innovative technologies and how these can support the provision of high-quality learning opportunities.
You will additionally develop and enhance positive working relationships with NHS and other partners, to ensure that the Institute is proactive in meeting contemporary agendas and workforce development needs, especially in relation to Advanced Clinical Practice.
You must hold current professional registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body and (if appropriate to your profession) have a recorded independent prescribing qualification. Candidates should either hold a MSc Advanced Clinical Practice or RCN credentialed Advanced Level Nurse Practitioner status.
We are particularly keen to hear from HCPC and GPhC registered advanced clinical practitioners and are seeking innovative, creative, high quality researchers, and scholars to foster a culture of exploration, discovery and intellectual challenge that generates international recognition, respect and engagement.
