Due to the successful and continued expansion of the centre, the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing are looking to recruit Senior Lecturers in Clinical Practice.

We have a strong reputation and expertise in developing Advanced Practitioners within the North-West, and our Advanced Clinical Practice programmes are accredited by Health Education England.

We are looking for clinicians to join our teaching team to contribute and teach on our clinical focused post graduate programmes. In addition to academic teaching responsibilities, the appointee will work closely with clinical colleagues in local NHS Trusts and organisations to support students during clinical learning experiences.

The appointees will also contribute to student recruitment and interview processes.

A first degree and post-graduate qualification in a relevant area is essential. You should have strong clinical knowledge, healthcare experience and an understanding of advanced practice roles. HCPC/NMC or equivalent registration is desirable for this role along with a teaching qualification (or a willingness to obtain is essential where the candidate does not hold the qualification).

The successful candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of current changes in health care practice and evolving developments in clinical practice, and have the ability to create and maintain a range of links between academic courses and health care providers.

We also welcome applications from candidates looking for variable hours lecturing opportunities.
