The School of Health and Life Sciences is one of the largest integrated schools combining health and life science programmes. Our graduates make an immense contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of communities across the globe.
This post will be based in our new Lanarkshire Campus within the Division of Biological Sciences and Health supporting the highly attractive Biomedical Science undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and contributing to learning, teaching and research across the school of health and life science. Flexibility to travel to other campuses as required is desirable.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative individual with extensive experience as a Biomedical or Clinical Scientist with a PhD (or be nearing completion). Applicants with experience of quality processes and management systems, team leadership and/or supervision of students or trainees would be welcome.
As a Senior Lecturer you would be expected to take a lead role in the development of teaching, research and commercial activities in the area of Biomedical Science. Experience of learning and teaching in higher education with a desire to develop. innovative methods to enhance the student experience across our programmes is essential.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent and experience working in or with the NHS clinical laboratories would be desirable.
