The above full-time post is available immediately in the Academy of Nursing for a fixed term period of 2 years.

It’s why we’ve created this exciting new role working across our Nursing and Medical Imaging teams.

We’re looking for someone who has a passion for testing out new ideas and approaches to simulation, evaluating ‘what works’ to improve students’ experiences and educational outcomes, and sharing experiences and learning with colleagues in the College, University, and wider educational research community across the UK and internationally.

In this role you will work closely with the Heads of Nursing and Medical Imaging, Professor of Interprofessional Education and with the Simulation and Skills’ Leads in nursing and medical imaging to:

  • Design, deliver, evaluate and disseminate educational innovation in the field of simulation
  • Collaborate with colleagues across our teams to discover new pedagogical approaches
  • Develop partnerships with clinical colleagues to expand placement opportunities through simulated approaches
  • Bring your experience and expertise to teaching in one or more disciplines across the College

The successful candidate will be comfortable working across boundaries, have a sharp enquiring mind, and an ability to manage competing demands and multiple relationships, while striving for excellence in education and scholarship.
