This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s School of Allied Health Professions. The School oversees a number of professional development courses (undergraduate and post graduate) across Physiotherapy, Radiography, Diagnostics & Imaging, and Prosthetics & Orthotics. With ever-expanding programmes, the School has secured Health Education England funding through the Clinical Placement Expansion Project, to support placement practice education requirements, with the objective to implement innovative placements at Keele for AHP students.
We have available a short term contract or secondment opportunity as a Practice Educator Facilitators. The post will lead, support and evaluate a Radiography, Diagnostic and Imaging, rotation at Keele . The post-holder will have a strong commitment to workforce development, experience of mentoring/practice education.
The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have a relevant degree level qualification. In addition, the successful candidate will have current, or recent experience of working in practice education or clinical practice. Experience of teaching in a Higher Education setting would be advantageous but is not essential.
