We are seeking knowledgeable and skilled individuals to join our successful and highly committed team. We are seeking candidates with a breadth of experience in a variety of areas.

The Department provides high quality, research-rich education using a variety of innovative teaching and learning methods delivered at all academic levels from undergraduate to doctoral study. You will work flexibly as part of a team to contribute to teaching, learning and assessment and research to support a high-quality student experience in both pre-registration and post-registration programmes. You will participate in the planning, designing and development of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as pastoral tutoring. You will provide expertise to further enhance research and entrepreneurial activities. This will include undertaking individual and collaborative research that demonstrates impact.

Previous experience of teaching and leading is highly desirable and your application should detail your areas of clinical/teaching experience and expertise. We are looking for individuals with a variety of expertise which includes midwifery, cancer care, critical care, public health to identify a few areas. For the Professor/Associate Professor roles we are looking for someone to also fulfil significant leadership responsibilities as part of departmental management. There are several posts available. Part-time and Secondment arrangements may be considered.

You must possess excellent knowledge of the subject area you are considering applying for and be a registered member of a relevant professional body, if applicable. You must hold a Master’s degree or be either qualified to Doctoral level or be willing to study for a Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline. You need to have subject expertise with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice, or consultancy.
