We are seeking to appoint a Professor or experienced Associate Professor in Midwifery Education with current NMC registration to a permanent post within our award-winning School of Health Sciences with its vibrant community and its outstanding reputation.

For an initial period of three years in rotation with colleagues you will lead our BSc in Midwifery Programme. In this key role you will provide strategic leadership for the design, development, and teaching of undergraduate midwifery curricula, support the development of academic standards and policies and contribute to the enhancement of teaching and learning across midwifery and the School of Health Sciences.

You will undertake a substantive programme of scholarly activity consistent with Professorial or experienced Associate Professor standing alongside a commitment to be a compassionate role model and to mentor and support other colleagues.

This is a permanent professorial / academic opportunity with a three-year term of office as programme lead. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered.
